Israeli couscous salad with zucchini, summer squash

Resisting the urge to add (tomatoes, roasted peppers, cheese) to this salad is what made it great.

A simple stir-fry of chicken and snow peas for a Tuesday night.

Strawberry-rhubarb crisp

A classic dessert, always delicious, especially with scoop of vanilla ice cream. This was made by my wife. Thanks Jen!

Roasted turnips with carrots
CSA ingredient: turnips.
Roasting brings out the sweetness of turnips and makes a great side dish for grilled steak.
-
Beet and turnip greens
CSA ingredients: Beet and turnip greens.
Some throw the tops of the beets and turnips in the trash. Cooked down with some onions, chili flakes and a hit of vinegar, they are delicious.
-
Garlic scape chimichurri
CSA ingredient: garlic scapes.
This was served with grilled steak. I didn't chop it up as finely as I would have for a normal chimichurri. Maybe it's more like a salad?
